
The Naysayers (Drea Naysayer) is a non-binary singer songwriter who performs solo and as a three-piece band. Their music blends elements of folk, country, alt-rock, and punk. They’re known for visceral lyrics, shape shifting vocals, catchy melodies and sincere energy. Drea Naysayer is recognized as a live performer with meteoric power, vocals that command attention, engaging, and unforgettable performances.
The Naysayers lived and performed in the Yukon for ten years before relocating to Saskatoon, making their performance debut at the Breakout West Music Conference in 2024. They’ve released 10 independent albums, won CBC Searchlight Yukon, and have toured nationally and internationally. Their latest single, “Everybody Comes Here To Die” was released in December 2025. Recent and upcoming Naysayers performances include the 2026 Saskatoon Winterruption, the 2026 TD Sask Jazz Festival opening for Modest Mouse and the 2026 Peterborough Folk Festival. The Naysayers plan to release a new studio album in the spring of 2027.
